Rockford Estate Blend™ Veneer
Rockford Estate Blend™, a beautiful veneer of lightly tumbled genuine Indiana Limestone with a full range of natural color and sizes that will accentuate the dynamics of each individual application and architectural style.
Part of the Limestone Classics Series
Rockford Estate Blend™ belongs to the Limestone Classics Series, offered alongside Vanderbilt Classic and Berkshire as one of three standard veneer finishes in genuine Indiana Limestone. Where Vanderbilt Classic is finished sawn and Berkshire is finished split face, Rockford Estate Blend™ is produced as a tumbled limestone veneer, specified where a softened, hand-worked face and broader tonal variation are the design intent.
Process, Color Range & Application
The Rockford Estate Blend™ finish is achieved by lightly tumbling the stone, a process distinct from Vanderbilt Classic's sawn finish and Berkshire's split face. Tumbling softens the arris and face texture of each unit, giving the veneer a worn, settled character while the material remains genuine Indiana Limestone throughout.
Rockford Estate Blend™ carries the full natural color range of Indiana Limestone, with units varying across the tones native to the quarry. This tonal breadth is a defining characteristic of the blend and should be accounted for during layout and panel selection.
Given its varied tone and texture, Rockford Estate Blend™ is suitable for both residential and commercial applications, at the discretion of the specifying architect or fabricator, and can serve as a primary facade veneer or as an accent within a mixed-material elevation.
Rockford Estate Blend™ offers the same durability and endurance as other classic Indiana Limestone buildings such as the Empire State Building, National Cathedral, and Biltmore Estate.
